I designed the Rainbow Rays Shawl to show off a set of gorgeous mini skeins that I had in my stash. The pattern has sections of simple double crochet, mixed with a little bit of lace/mesh stitches and colour changes to keep thing interesting!

Materials:

Contrast colour - 100g 4ply/sock yarn (approx 400m/100g) - I have used white yarn with coloured speckles in the shawl pictured.

For rainbow stripes - 100g 4ply/sock yarn (approx 400m/100g) - You can use one colour for all the stripes or use an assortment of mini skeins like I have in the shawl pictured.

4mm crochet hook

Wide eyed needle
