Rainbow ridges cascade across the blanket, creating a colorful accessory for any room. Make a rainbow baby blanket, a striped blanket for your living room, or a blanket to show of a more focused color palette.

The blanket uses only basic stitches, but their unusual placement creates a thick, colorful blanket. The blanket also features a two row repeat, so it becomes an easy project after a few rows.

The tutorial includes step by step instructions with pictures detailing where to place your hook, making it accessible to the advanced beginner ready for a challenge.

I made the blanket with Knit Pick’s Brava Worsted yarn (1500-1800 yards) and an I (5.5 mm) hook. Exact colors and amounts are given in the pattern. However, the pattern can be worked with any yarn. You can change the color pattern to match any palette.
