These socks have been designed as a gift to you to help stay positive over the coming weeks and months as the world outside is a strange place right now. Rainbows are such a sign of hope. Using rainbow striped yarn, I hope these trainer socks will bring a smile to your face.
The pattern is a simple ripple stitch four row repeat which is very easy to memorise. If you want, you can knit a longer leg if you would prefer to knit an ankle sock rather than a trainer sock. The lace gives the sock plenty of stretch, so it fits well.
Please contact me on Ravelry if you find a mistake or if you have any queries.
The pattern is perfect for using up leftover sock yarn as it needs 40 -50g of yarn. (30-35g of striping yarn and 10-15g of contrast yarn for the heels and toes.)
I’m offering this pattern for free, but if you would like to make a small donation, I have a Just Giving page where I am raising funds for Myositis UK. Thank you. I really hope you enjoy knitting these socks!
