A cute and simple striping pair of socks that makes excellent use of 1 variegated and 1 plain 50 gram skein of sock yarn. This sock pattern uses only knit and purl stitches and is a perfect beginner pattern.

PATTERN NOTES
These socks are worked from the top down with a standard heel flap and short row heel turn. The socks are fraternal twins, but if you wish to make 2 socks the same the yardage requirements will accommodate the change.

The beginning of rounds are hidden in the inner back leg, and the gusset decreases have been moved to either side of the sole: this ensures uninterrupted stripes on the visible parts of the socks.
