Knit yourself a gloriously vibrant rainbow washcloth – a great gift for a child, to celebrate diversity, or just for someone who loves colour! (And of course you can always knit them in completely different colours or even just one colour if you prefer.)

The shape of the knit stitches automatically give gentle bumps for great cleaning, while the cotton yarn means the cloth is beautifully soft against your skin - perfect for washing yourself, your dishes, even your floor!

OPTIONS:
DIAGONAL WASHCLOTH – a large, square cloth. It can be knitted with narrow stripes traversing all colours of the rainbow twice, or wider stripes going through the colours just once.

WAFFLE WASHCLOTH – a very slightly smaller cloth knitted in a broken rib design that has all the same attributes as the diagonal one. This cloth has a different texture on each side, so you can choose whichever you prefer the look of.

HEART WASHCLOTH – slightly smaller again due to the shape, but still plenty big enough for any amount of washing! Particularly attractive as a gift. (Note: this is the same pattern as the heart in my Bubble Writing Alphabet) Option for adding a crocheted hanging loop as this cloth doesn’t stay on a hook very well otherwise!
