Rainfall is a simple but satisfying knit which produces a modern asymmetric poncho with a thick and squishy texture. Worked flat and top-down, with one short seam to finish. Finished size after seaming: approx 85cm wide, 60cm deep.

Icord edging on three sides and a sewn tubular rib bind off on the bottom hem are used. Here are some tutorial links - it may be helpful for you to familiarise yourself with these techniques before beginning…
