The rainfall socks are knit in simple sections of Fair Isle dots that create a transition from one color to another. For me, the overall effect is reminiscent of rainfall. This is a perfect project for someone who wants to break into Fair Isle but has never tried before as the Fair Isle sections are so simple. This pattern is written for the magic loop method, but can easily be converted for double pointed needles. Enjoy!
