Rainflow Dissolving is a cozy loose-fitting cowl that features a texture motif that can be worked using either a cable needle or twisted stitches. The pattern includes both charted and written instructions.

The example cowls were knitted with Patons Classic Wool DK Weight Superwash, Uptons Coopworth 5 ply Gansey, and KFI Luxury Silk Sport. DK weight yarn will yield results as given in the pattern. Use of a sport weight yarn with the needle sizes given will result in a much lighter fabric.
