This cowl was created in tribute to the big ole’ mountain practically in my backyard, Mt. Rainier. As the seasons come and go, glaciers and snowpack always hold steadfastly to its peak.

This single-wrap, twisted rib cowl is knitted flat and joined by a single button. You begin with knitting one elongated point in the contrast color before switching to the main color for the body. Near the end of its length a smaller peak is made with a switch back to the contrast color and creating a button hole finishes the project off. It is the perfect accessory when you need just a bit of warmth and coziness.
