The Rainyday Vest is a quite simple yet a unique crochet piece. It’s perfect for cold and rainy weather regardless of the season. Just put it on your favourite blouse or dress to add a character to your outfit and feel cosy and warm.

I made two RainyDay Vests from different yarn choices. For the first option I used approximately 4 skeins of Drops Alpaca Bouclé (50 g = 140 m / 153 yd) and 4 skeins of Drops Alpaca (50 g = 167 m / 182 yd). Crochet hook 5,5 mm.
For the second option I used approximately 4 skeins of ONION Nettle Sock Yarn (50 g = 185 m / 202 yd) and 4 skeins of Drops Kid-Silk (25 g = 210 m / 230 yd). Crochet hook
4 mm.

The sample vests on the photos were worked in size M (91 cm bust)
RainyDay Vest is a regular shaped vest, to be worn with approximately 5 cm/2” of positive ease.

This pattern is made to measure style pattern, so you can use any yarn you like, but have in mind that amount of yarn for the vest will be different depending on your choice.

Difficulty: Intermediate - would be good if you are comfortable with crocheting and have made few projects before. This design includes seaming.
