The Raking Leaves Shawl is a two-colour fingering weight shawl designed using my signature “curled” shawl shape.

Raking Leaves is a leafy design created from wanting to knit two yarns from my stash together, a speckled green skein and a black skein, and seeing the same green in the apples my little boy was picking from our apple tree whilst I was trying to rake up the fallen leaves.

Materials:
~ 2 x 100g skein of speckled yarn (100g/ 400m) - Main Colour
~ 2 x 100g skein of solid coloured yarn (100g/ 400m) - Contrast Colour
~ 4.00 mm Knitting Needle
~ Darning Needle
(Note that yardage ranged between 1 skein to 1.2 skeins of each colour)

Difficulty: Intermediate

~ Knit & Purl
~ Increases & Decreases

~ Picot Cast Off
