An architectural wrap, inspired by the beautiful tiles in Montevideo, Uruguay

The Rambla shawl has a rectangular shape and is knitted with a combination of simple knit and purl stitches in a series of opposite bands to achieve the final piece. The pattern is reversible and adaptable to different types of yarn.

MATERIALS
Yarn: 2 skeins of Fingering Silky Merino by Sundara Yarn (50% silk, 50% merino, 560 yds / 512 m – 150 g), colourway Make a Wish. Or approx. 1120 yds / 1024 m of fingering weight yarn.

Needles: US 4 / 3.5 mm 24” (60 cm) or longer circular needles (or long straight needles).

Notions: Tapestry needle.
