Ramble along in this classy and cozy earflap hat! The simple detailing of the woven cable band lends it unisex appeal, and this pattern is sized for everyone! Worked seamlessly from the top down with short row earflaps, you’ll love the construction. If desired, work the I-cord edging and ties in a contrasting yarn and add a fur pom pom for flair.

Techniques used: Working in the round, German Short Rows (full instructions included in pattern), simple cabling, I-cord bind off.

Sizes:
0-3 mo (3-6 mo, 6-12 mo, Toddler/Child, Adult S, Adult M, Adult L)
Head Circumference for size: 14 (16, 18, 20, 21.5, 22.5, 24.5) in / 36 (41, 46, 51, 55, 57, 62) cm

Yarn:
Knit Picks Simply Wool Bulky:
70 (80, 90, 115, 135, 160, 190) yds / 64 (73, 82, 105, 123, 146, 174) m

Yardage requirement includes enough for slouchier hat. If desired, work I-Cord BO and ties in contrasting color.

Note: If substituting yarn, please note that this yarn is thinner than a traditional bulky yarn. It knits up more like a thick Aran weight yarn.

Needles:
US 10.5 (6.5 mm) DPNs (5) or 47” (120 cm) circular (if using Magic Loop Method); US 9 (5.5 mm) DPNs or circular needle (for I-Cord BO)

Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
