An easy, mindless hat, “Rams & Ewes”, is a great beginers hat. The repetition of a very easy sequence of stitches makes this the perfect hat to knit, while the spiral crown & the changes of colour add interest to the project
The pattern is inspired by the beautiful merino sheep, local to Spain.
Depending on the length of the body, the hat can be knitted as a slouchy or beanie
The yarn I used, a 100% merino yarn from dLana, is an ecological Merino wool from native sheep of the areas of Cordoba & Extremadura. This is a non-superwash yarn ideal for textured knitting projects.
