Ranka is a light, but warm, beanie featuring a subtle cable pattern inspired by the winding vines found in nature.

The beanie is knitted from the bottom up, starting with a ribbed brim that is folded up. The entire beanie, including the cable pattern, is worked in ribbing resulting in a stretchy and flexible fit.

The cable pattern is easy to memorize and looks its best when stretched out, by blocking or simply just worn.

The sizes in the pattern are calculated based on the specified gauge (both with and hight). Therefore, be sure to knit a gauge swatch befgore you begin to determine the correct needle size for the required gauge.

The pattern is fully charted and written out.
