Knit to the size of your head; if it is too lose then it will fall down and be annoying, if it is too tight then it can uncomfortable.

Knit through the back loop
Knit two together
Slip, slip knit
Purl three together
Knit, purl, knit into the same stitch
3 needle bind off- I include a video of my ‘hack’ to this to do it on 2 needles, which I find easier. It’s also great if you only have 2 needles to hand.

The vine is made with mock cables so no cable needle is required, it makes them really pop out from the pattern. The raspberries use simple raspberry stitch which makes it easier than bobbles and compliments the leaves so nicely!
The size of the headband waves slightly as the leaves grow and shrink. The headband is knitted to the size of your head– that was 4 rounds for me (58cm head) and will probably be for you too.
