My Rasta Gonk Gnome is another one of those designs that I’ve
wanted to do for years but never got around to doing. Then ‘Don’t
worry about a thing’ came on the radio and as Bob Marley sang his
heart out my mind went to my Rasta Gonk and I knew I had to
make him.

He is knitted flat using 3mm needles and DK yarn. I have used
beads for his dreadlocks; his glasses are available from lots of
shops on eBay, and I’ve included the links within the pattern to the
ones I have used. I’ve also included a skull cap just in case you want
to omit the hat and give him a full head of hair.

He has a bit of a swagger and is a really cool dude.

He’s a really simple make. Just basic knitting skills are required. As
long as you can Knit, Purl, cast on/off and increase/decrease
stitches you won’t have any trouble making him.

I hope you’ll enjoy knitting him as much as I have.
