This is a variation of How to Knit a Heart Coaster by Julie & The Knits made especially for Rasta yarn.
I made the “cheeks” of the heart shorter, added ssk for the right-side decreases, changed how the “point” is finished, and wrote it out row by row, updating the directions.
I think it’s clever how the two heart cheeks are combined together. It’s great as a mug mat or a small trivet/hot pad.
Yarn: Malabrigo Rasta yarn (I used colorway 416 Indiecita), maybe about 10 yards
Knitting needles: 8mm, US11 (recommend a circular such as 24”)
