A cowl pattern inspired by the Maidenhair Spleenwort fern, a species of fern that grows on rock. It is knitted completely seamlessly, using fine knitting techniques.

Techniques:
The tube scarf is started with Provisional Cast On. It is knit flat and connected into a tube with Kitchener stitches. The connection point remains invisible. An I-cord edge, knitted at the same time as the main piece, runs along the edge of the work. The pattern of the scarf is knitted in garter stitch, with raised stitches, long stitches and braids.
