Time: Two Weekends Project

Skill Level: Easy

Materials:
Yarn: Cascade Yarns Aereo (47% Merino wool, 31% baby alpaca, 22% nylon; 240 yards 220 meters/100g): #01 Jet (MC, 2 (3, 3, 4) skeins), #04 Ecru (CC, 2 (2, 3, 3) skeins).

Needle: US size 9 (5.5 mm) straight or 24” (60 cm) circular.

Notions: Tapestry needle, stitch marker.

Special Stitches: 2×2 Rib; Slip Stitch Pattern

Pattern Notes: Two rectangles sewn together create this poncho. Start with 2×2 ribbing edge. Work the Slip Stitch pattern, working with just one color on each row, with rib edges to prevent the curling of the sides. End with 2×2 ribbing edge. If you prefer a longer or shorter rectangle, add or subtract rows symmetrically.
