Raven’s Island Time Wrap… quietly, calmly, perfectly warms your soul in this lovely rustic, natural yarn. Fiddlehead Farm’s Gabriola Island grown wool lends itself perfectly to creating a timeless, classic piece.

Measurements approx. after blocking:
90 in/229 cm wingspan x 27 in/69 cm at deepest point and the “sides” are 53 in/135 cm.
(Metric measurements are rounded off to the nearest cm).

Yarn:
1 x 1000 g Cone of Fiddlehead Farm Romney with some Cotswold/Shetland Cross yarn. (I used 480 g/885 m roughly calculated with conversion rates)

It is now also available in 7 oz/198.5 g skeins: 400 yds/365 m. I purchased mine at the 100 Mile Fleece and Fibre Event in Coombs on Vancouver Island.

Raven’s Island Time Wrap commences with an I-cord tab cast-on. It is then knit sideways from wingspan point to wingspan point, increasing at the end of every right-side row. At the halfway point, you begin decreasing at the end of every right-side row to finish off in a lovely triangle.
