One skein wonder!

This shawl is a long, narrow crescent worked in garter stitch with a series of openwork lace panels and a picot bind off. It is designed to use up one skein of fingering weight yarn.

This simple, light weight shawl is deceptively easy to knit and makes for great summer or vacation knitting.

The sample was knit using Knit Picks Stroll Tonal, a superwash-nylon blend, but this shawl would work equally well in a variety of fibers. Use a silk blend for an elegant evening accessory, or try a cotton linen blend for that perfect summer shawl. The simplicity of this shawl makes it perfect for variegated yarns, but it would look equally good in solid or semi solid colorways.

I would love to see this shawl knit up in as many different fiber blends and colorways as possible!

This pattern is easily adaptable to account for variations in yardage.
