This design was created in an effort to use up the short bits of yarn left over from other projects. Bits too small to use for anything else but far too beautiful to leave in a bin or throw away.

I used approximately 200 yards of a new skein of black (Onyx) and a wide assortment of colors in lengths ranging from 38 yards to 6.9 yards…all remnants.

You will:
Cast on.
Knitting every row.
Decrease on either end.
Change colors and weave in ends.
Cast off.

Use your chosen yarn as the indicator for the needle size you require.
I used Madelinetosh DK Twist, so a US7/4.50mm needle was perfect for me.

I suggest using a scale to calculate your remnant yardage.

Mix up your colors and textures…have fun with it!

In honor of the release of Ravenscliffe, all my designs are on sale for 25% off until midnight EST March 31/15.
