Ravenwood… worked in lovely wool from Fiddlehead Farm on Gabriola Island, a home to Shetland/Cross sheep. I am on a new adventure, discovering a wonderful, growing selection of wool grown within 100 miles (that’s 161 km)of my home.

Ravenwood is a slightly asymmetrical wrap. It is knit sideways, commencing with an I-Cord cast-on and with an increase at the end of every right-side row, resulting in a bias finish to the patterns.

Measurements approx. after blocking:
78 in/198 cm wingspan x 56 in/142 cm x 46 in/117 m x 36 in/91 cm at deepest point.
(Metric measurements are rounded off to the nearest cm).

3 x 200 g Fiddlehead Farm Yarn, Shetland/Cotswold Mix – Shade: Natural (used 430 g/787 m)
Substitute with a nice Alpaca Worsted weight or home grown yarn from your area!
