“Ray Dance” is my first attempt at creating a textured mosaic design, forming a dynamic surface through light and shadow.

This pattern is suitable for pillows or bags worked in the round and is easy to follow, making it accessible for confident beginners as well as experienced crocheters who enjoy textured designs.

The blue pillow (38 x 38 cm / approx. 15 x 15 inches) is made with thread yarn. I used approximately 210 g of Alize Crochet Forever.

For a larger pillow (45 x 45 cm / approx. 18 x 18 inches) made with sport weight yarn (for example, Alize Cotton Gold), you will need approximately 340 g of yarn.
