Gansey made in alpaca/wool blend, instead of traditional wool.
I have used Drops LIMA YARN, as it have fantastic stitch definition and great “bounce”.
In the same time is extra soft and warm.
For the size M ( 40” chest circumference) you will need 16 balls/skeins
of 50 gr.,
for size L ( 42” chest circumference) 18 balls and for size XL (44” - 46” chest circumference 20 balls, and 3.25mm and 3.75 mm circular needles.

Pattern can be used to knit with any DK YARN ,please take time and check the gauge.
Gauge: 24 sts and 28 rows = 4” (10 cm) over St st using 3.75 mm needles.
