This pattern is available for free.

You can find this pattern for free on my blog, or you can purchase an ad-free printable PDF version (including a text only version). Purchasing the PDF for this updated version will also give you access to the PDF for the original version of this pattern, so you won’t have to choose between the two.

This pattern is a new and improved version of the knit Cabled Crown Beanie.

The beanie is made with less than 1 skein of I Love This Yarn in Sungold and 6.0 mm knitting needles. You’ll also need a tapestry needle and a cable holder. And you can also add a faux fur pompom if you’d like to. As written, the hat measures about 8” tall and 19” in circumference (unstretched). But you can easily adjust the pattern to make it slouchier if you want to.

The hat is worked sideways in flat rows and then seamed up to form a hat, so it’s a good option for a beginner who’s comfortable with cables.

You’re welcome to do whatever you’d like to with finished products made from this pattern but if you do sell them, I ask that you link back to my page. You may not copy this pattern, repost it anywhere (either altered or in its original form), or claim it as your own. You may not use any photos on this site for your own use.
