This fingerless mitt set features the big dipper on one hand and the little dipper on the other; and will please any star gazer in your life. These mitts are easy and quick, as stated in “Easy and Quick Fingerless Mitts”. You get this pattern in the book along with four other patterns for fingerless mitts.

Or you can buy this pattern alone and make an excellent gift or warm your own hands!

These mitts are wonderfully easy to work up, not shaping except for some ribbing under the thumb and an easy gusset for the thumb…no picking up stitches, the vast majority of the stitches are knit, although there are a few purls. The top and part of the bottom gently roll, adding character to the overall design.

This is a great pattern for practicing working on double pointed needles.
