A deep chair by the fire or a window seat warmed by the sun. A stack of pillows piled in a corner. A flashlight beneath a blanket fort. Whatever form it takes, your reading nook is a secret retreat, a place filled with cushions, quiet, and just enough solitude to sink into a story. Not far from the rhythms of daily life, but existing somehow outside of them. It’s a sanctuary for stories, for losing yourself in other worlds and finding yourself in others’ words.

The Reading Nook Socks are inspired by our small, bookish sanctuaries. A textured front panel evokes the shape of open books nestled in your lap, framed by slender lace columns like the spines of well-loved volumes. The rest of the sock is calm and simple, with a slip rib heel for structure and a tidy wedge toe. Worked from the top down, this pattern offers a soothing, gently engaging knit, designed for slow mornings, audiobook afternoons, and quiet time carved out just for you. The pattern includes three sizes and welcomes customisation with your favourite heel or toe techniques.
