Ready to Go: The Sock is a fun-to-knit, stranded sock that is great for wearing inside hiking boots, or with jeans, or slouched over tights. The design is gender-neutral, and because it’s stranded, you achieve double the warmth of a single strand of yarn. The pattern also contains instructions for an optional secret pocket for securing a key or cash, and when the top cuff is folded down, the pocket opening is completely hidden. It also has a sister pattern…a matching hat. See Ready to Go: The Hat! One skein of each color will make both projects.* Knit both and you’ll be ready to go from head to toe!

If you are using a needle size larger than #1 or #2, and you’re making both projects, you might want to order a second skein of Sapphire Heather.
