I love patterns that are easy to knit but look complicated and really make a statement that way. Beginners will easily master this pattern and receive many compliments for the finished piece.

The rapport goes over four stitches and eight rows, easy.

Since I knit very tight, I definitely recommend knitting a gauge in the brocade pattern. If necessary, choose a needle size smaller.

For a nice contrast choose a dark tone for the main color and a light tone for the contrast color. The pattern also looks very nice if you stay in one family of color.

Da ich sehr fest stricke, empfehle ich auf jeden Fall eine Maschenprobe im Brokatmuster zu stricken. Bei Bedarf eine Nadelstärke kleiner wählen.

Für einen schönen Kontrast als Hauptfarbe einen möglichst dunklen Ton und einen hellen für die zweite Farbe wählen. Das Muster sieht auch sehr schön aus, wenn man in einer Farbfamilie bleibt.
