A quick little cosy (cozy) made from leftover sock yarn. This cosy is perfect for cold iPhones and those wanting to try slipped stitch or mosaic knitting on a small scale. You only work one colour of yarn per round, so this is a great intro to doing colourwork.

The pattern reminded me of the buttons on my old cassette player, hence the name.

The colourwork is both charted and in written directions. Skills needed: knit, purl, slip stitch, make 1, working stripes, working in the round, and kitchener stitch.

And sock or fingering weight yarn will work for this pattern. You will need approximately 30m (33yds) of the main colour and 20m (22yds) of the contrast colour.
