I created this magical Red Moon Goddess Knitting Pattern just in time to be released on the special Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse on November 8, 2022. This pattern carries all of the magic of the Blood Moon. Knit a gorgeous Goddess of your own for your altar, to take with you everywhere you go, or as a special gift for someone who needs some extra magic in their life. Give as a gift to a young Maiden in your life who is just starting her first moon!

This pattern is straightforward, fast and fun to knit up. The Goddess is knit all in one piece from the bottom up, in the round and the arms are sewn on separately. The Goddess is knit with some really beautiful shaping to give her gorgeous curves.

Materials Used:
* #4 medium weight yarn
Two circular knitting needles or double pointed needles in a size 3.5mm. Any size needle and yarn can be used as long as the knit is tight enough to hold in stuffing.

  • Stuffing
  • Tapestry needle

If you’re using medium weight yarn and 3.5mm knitting needles, your Goddess will be approximately 6.5” tall and 2.5” wide. Use whichever needle size and yarn you need to make a tight knit to hold in the stuffing.

Stitches Used:
Knit, KFB, K2tog, SSK, KFB, RLI, LLI.

All stitches are easy and quick to learn if you don’t already know them.
