The Red Moon Sweater is a top-down, yoke based design inspired by the sacred bond between woman and the moon! The yoke chart starts you off with a small moon and stars motif and ends with a large moon phase pattern just before separating for the sleeves. The colorwork doesn’t end there! Top it all off with a star motif at the hemline and in the sleeves. This sweater has slight positive ease around the bust and an a-line body shape for the most flattering fit for women of all body types!

You’ll notice there is a slight difference in the spacing of the big moons in the yoke of the sweater between the original sample (pictured here on lovely model, Bec) and the test knit samples. During testing, the chart changed to bring the moons closer together and show off the phases in a symmetrical way! We think this makes for a cleaner and more fun-to-knit design, so just keep that in mind moving forward and make sure to check out all of the beautiful test knit photos!
