This “Red Poppy Crochet Flower Pattern” is a CROCHET ENGLISH PATTERN IN PDF FORMAT. This is NOT a finished item or Crochet Kit. There are 15 pages in pdf format & over 60 photos in this tutorial!

This pattern is written in US crochet terms & in English only. It is suitable for beginners & intermediate level. It does not contain instructions on how to wrap the flower bouquet.

Required Materials:

• 2.5 mm crochet hook
• Fine yarn in 4 colours (red, black, green & yellow). Crocheting 1 flower with 2 leaves will use no more than 1/4 skeins of each colour. I used Yarn Art Begonia yarn for this project.
• 2.0 mm diameter wire (about 30 - 40 cm long) for the flower stem
• A small amount of 0.5 mm diameter wire (for the leaves). Jewelry copper wire will also work for this project.
• Glue gun & glue stick

To do this project, you would need to only know basic stitches.
Chain stitch - ch
Single crochet - sc
Slip stitch - sl st
Half double crochet - hdc
Double crochet - dc
