Red Tide
- Easy.
- This is a long ways knitted scarf.
- Put a marker on one side so you can easily identify the right side. Using highlighter tape to mark you rows will help a LOT.
- If you wanted fringe you could just begin a new yarn every row, cutting and leaving a 6” tail at the other end. Tie 2 together at the ends as you go to keep them in place. Your fringe would be done when you finish knitting the scarf.
- This one is best knit in a solid color, and be careful not to over block it – you won’t be able to see the pattern. It will be kind of wavy if you block it just right.
Yarn: Worsted weight, not too dark a color.
Needle: 32” or 36” circular needle, #8.
From my book of 15 scarves, The Knaughty Knitter Book of Scarves.
