Reflections is an uncomplicated colourwork pattern elevated by yarn and colour choices that create a watercolour type of effect.

The 4 Ply Version of the pattern includes two patterns -- one for a slouchy version and one for a beanie version. Each version includes instructions for three sizes.

Do not let the finished product intimidate you --the colourwork is a simple two colours per row in an easy, rhythmic pattern perfect for those new to colourwork. There are no long floats or complicated stitches.

To achieve the watercolour-like effect use a solid or semi-solid as the main colour and a low to mid-contrast variegated or speckled yarn for contrast. The degree of contrast between the two yarns will dictate the final outcome.

This is a great stashbusting project! Use up those sweater leftovers or that speckled skein that you just had to have but have no project for.

Top your hat off with a fun pom pom or wear it without one. Make a big, small, or in between yarn pom pom or use a faux fur or alpaca fur pom pom…make it your own! (Faux fur pom poms sold separately.)
