Regarde!
Regarde Sock
Let your feet take center stage! The Regarde Socks are elegant, feminine, and beautifully bold socks featuring eye-catching, flowing ruffles. The design is directly inspired by France’s glamorous and high-energy entry for Eurovision 2026 – the artist Monroe and the pop track Regarde!
The socks are knitted top-down and combine a textured cuff and a classic heel flap with two dramatic ruffles around the ankle. The upper ruffle is worked in the smooth and durable fingering-weight sock yarn Armonia, while the lower ruffle is worked in fluffy silk mohair to create a luxurious contrast of textures.
This is the perfect project for anyone looking to add a touch of French pop aesthetic to their hand-knit wardrobe!

The pattern uses two different yarns worked separately:

Yardage: approx. 50 (60) 70 g / 218 (262) 306 yds.

Gauge
40 rows x 28 sts = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) in stockinette stitch on 2.5 mm needles.
Needles and Notions
Needles: US 0 (2 mm) and US 1.5 (2.5 mm) DPNs or circular needles for Magic Loop.
Notions: 3 stitch markers (or markers labeled M1, M2, and SM), a stitch holder or waste yarn for holding live stitches, and a tapestry needle to weave in ends.
Construction and Difficulty
These socks are knitted top-down from the cuff to the toe. They feature a classic heel flap and gusset construction, and the toe is grafted together seamlessly using the Kitchener stitch. The ruffles are created by picking up stitches directly from the fabric.
