LAUNCH SHOP SALE: 30% OFF!

Hi everyone! I have just launched my designer profile on Ravelry, and this is my very first pattern here!

To thank those who support my first steps here, I’m offering a 30% discount for a short time only. No coupon needed – the discount is applied automatically in your cart!

⛵️ Regatta Textured Tote Bag

The Regatta Bag is inspired by the spirit of the sea and the joy of sailing. This large, stylish tote features a rich, alpine-stitch texture that is both beautiful and durable, making it the perfect companion for a day at work, at the beach, or a trip to the local market.

Design Highlights

  • Seamless Construction: Worked bottom-up in the round as one whole piece. No sewing is required!

  • Rich Texture: The body features the gorgeous Alpine stitch, while the trims use a unique slip-stitch variation for a delicate and stylish ribbed effect.

  • Customizable Details: Includes wide, comfortable handles and decorative contrasting cords that also allow you to regulate the width of the bag.

  • Versatile Size: While designed as a large tote, the pattern includes instructions on how to easily adjust it to any size you desire.

Materials & Specs

  • Skill Level: Beginner to Adventurous Beginner. Simple, detailed, and easy-to-follow instructions, written row by row, supported by a photo tutorial.

  • Main Body Yarn: Aran weight 100% cotton. I used Drops Paris, but any Aran weight yarn works perfectly.

  • Decorative Ropes: I used Drops Loves You 9 for the cords – its slightly rugged texture perfectly mimics real ship ropes, though any scrap yarn can be used.

  • Hook Size: 4.0 mm.

  • Finished Dimensions: Approx. 32 x 28 x 11 cm (12.6” x 11” x 4.3”) with instructions to adjust the size to your needs.

  • Language: Standard US crochet terminology.

❤️ A Note from the Designer:

I uploaded this pattern first to Ravelry, as this is my very first pattern I ever wrote and I have a special love for it. Stay tuned as new patterns will be uploaded here in the next few days, including one that is currently being tested and a few more designs I’m working on.

I hope Regatta brings as much joy to your hook as it did to mine! Thank you for supporting my new journey here and Happy Stitching!
