much a night owl and can often be found fluttering around amongst the stars long after everyone has
gone to bed.

Finished Size -

When made with the same yarn weight and hook size, your rosy maple moth should measure approximately 7
inches (17.5cm). However, size will differ depending on yarn weight and hook size.

Note - Gauge is not important for this pattern.

Materials Needed -

Yarn –
4ply Cotton Yarn (I have used Yarn and Colors Must-Have) in the following colours and quantities:
Pink - (Body, Legs and Wings) - Antique Pink - 40g
Yellow - (Alternate Body and Wings) - Mustard- 30g
Light Pink - (Cheeks) - Light Pink - < 10g

I have also used fur yarn for the neck of the moth - Peter Pan Precious - Kiss

Fur yarn is optional - the collar section of the pattern can be omitted.

Note - All yarn quantities are approximate; you may need more/less yarn depending on your tension, hook size and yarn type.

2.25mm crochet hook
Toy stuffing
White embroidery thread or fine yarn
Pipe cleaners (optional)
Tapestry needle
Pins for sewing
Stitch markers
Scissors
