Relative Dimensions In Space

This pattern is available as a free Ravelry download

in my search for a crochet TARDIS shawl, i discovered that i couldn’t find any. so i was inspired by Amy Schilling’s Doctor Who Fair Isle charts to make my own downsized TARDIS and fiddle with ideas for decorative mesh rows as well.

there are two different charted filet crochet motifs can be worked bottom-up if you know your length, or sideways if you don’t. the X’s in the charts represent filled-in squares.

You can use any weight yarn, but light fingering, fingering, or lace weight yarns (even crochet thread, with 4-dc filet) should work up wonderfully.

full disclosure: the bottom border i got from Vogue Knitting Stitchionary, Vol 4, Crochet. i modified it slightly, to fit into this pattern.

many many thanks to Korina, who proofread my pattern and offered suggestions to make it just right. but just in case, feel free to let me know if you notice any glitches.

my RDIS Wrap pattern is available for free, but if you like it, please consider sending me a donation via PayPal to trystan830@gmail.com to show your appreciation. thanks!
