Finished Measurements: 19.5” (49.5 cm) in circumference and 11” (28 cm) long.

MATERIALS
Yarn: 2 skeins of Berroco Ultra Alpaca Light (50% Alpaca, 50% Wool; 144 yds (132 m) / 50 g). Approximately 230 yds (210 m) of DK weight yarn. Sample knit in color Oatmeal.

Needles: US 2 (2.75 mm) and US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles, 16” 40 cm long, and dpns in larger size.

Other: three stitch markers, cable needle, and tapestry needle.

GAUGE

• 28 sts and 40 rnds = 4” (10 cm) in cable pattern on US 4 (3.5 mm) needles.
• 30 sts and 32 rows = 4” (10 cm) in 1X1 ribbing, unstretched, on US 2 (2.75 mm) needles.

Before you measure, please take the time to wash and block your swatch in the same manner that you will wash and block your hat.
