This generous sized crescent shaped shawl is knitted in a 6 Row repeat that drops some stitches on the 6th row to form a lovely pattern. The private side is pretty nice looking as well! It is easy to adjust the length of the shawl, as increases are done on every row until it is the size and width that you desire.

I suggest that the knitter start out with a 24” circular needle and move into a longer one as stitch count grows.

I used almost two full skeins of Cascade Sorata for my length. This yarn is lovely to work with.

Sock and fingering weight yarns would work very well with this pattern. The pattern will show up well in solids and tonals.
