REMAIN_LOOP_BEANIE is a classic ribbed beanie in two colors with a wide folded hem – perfect for using yarn from your stash in your favorite colors.

The beanie is worked from bottom to top. Stitches are first cast on and then worked in the round in ribbing. The top of the beanie is then shaped with decreases.

1 strand Tvinni, Spinni or Alpaca 2 from Isager – or
1 strand Merino, Cotton Merino or No Waste Wool from Knitting for Olive – or
1 strand Arwetta from Filcolana – or
1 strand Sunday from Sandnes – or

Together with:
2 strands of Silk Mohair with a meterage of 210–225 m per 25 g.

Col. A_
The beanie’s bottom part with the folded hem uses approx. 85 m of yarn per quality.
The first yarn quality uses approx. 17–22 g, depending on the meterage.

Silk Mohair should use approx. 10 g per strand.

Col. B_
The top of the beanie uses the same amount as mentioned for col. A_

Needles_
3.5 mm circular needles (40 cm) and DPNs in the same size, or 80 cm circular needles, if using Magic Loop method for the top of the beanie.

Gauge_
26 stitches x 30 rows in ribbing (k1, p1) on 3.5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm after washing and blocking.
