You will need red, green and black yarn, you can use any size yarn with the recommended hook size for that yarn.
I chose 100% acrylic yarn in DK with 3.5mm hook.
I also used a lobster clasp so it can be attached to any button hole or handbag. Just don’t like making a hole in my clothes with pins.
