• Quoi ? « Renaicendres » est un patron de tricot en format PDF d’un châle mixte en demi-lune, bi colore, avec une alternance de point mousse et de point texturé.

• Comment ? Il se tricote avec deux laines de type fingering, du milieu haut jusqu’à la bordure, avec des augmentations régulières à chaque rang. Le point texturé sera plus visible avec deux couleurs de laine bien contrastées !

• Pour quoi ? Avec ses deux écheveaux de 100g, Renaicendres est un châle de taille raisonnable (ni trop grand ni trop petit à mon goût ^^). Son point mousse et son point texturé lui donnent un rendu très moelleux, ce qui est parfait pour les cous un peu frileux de la mi-saison !

• Pour qui ? Pour celles et ceux qui veulent tricoter un projet sans prise de tête, mais avec un maximum d’effet ! ;) Ou bien, il sera parfait à offrir pour les personnes qui veulent un châle discret et simple, pour une femme comme pour un homme !

• Laine Deux fils de type Fingering (entre 365m-400m pour 100g environ) Approximativement 350m de la couleur principale (la beige) et 310m de la couleur contrastante (la noire). J’ai utilisé de la laine mérinos SW de Laféefil, en coloris « Du vent sur les cendres » (beige) et « L’Gaïette » (noire).

• Aiguilles Aiguilles de 3,5mm de diamètre recommandées (en fonction de votre échantillon). Je vous conseille d’utiliser des aiguilles circulaires (pour mieux répartir le poids du tricot), avec un câble de 80cm jusqu’à la section 4 comprise, et 100cm pour celles qui suivent (ce n’est pas une obligation, juste une question de confort ^^).

• Echantillon 24 mailles sur 36 rangs = 10cm x 10cm

• What ? “Renaicendres” (literally “Reborn from the ashes”) is a mixed shawl in a crescent shape, in two colours, alternating garter stitch and a textured stitch.

• How ? It is knit using two skeins of fingering weight yarn, from the top middle towards the border, with regular increases on each row. The textured stitch will be more visible with two very contrasted colours!

• Why ? Using two 100g skeins, Renaicendres is a reasonably sized shawl (not too big but not too small either!). The mix of garter stitch and textured stitch make it very squishy, which is perfect for those whose neck is a bit sensitive to the cold in the mid-season!

• Who ? For those who wish to knit an easy, no fuss project, but with maximum effect!! ;) Or, it could be the perfect gift for someone who wants a simple, discreet shawl, a woman as well as a man!

• YARN Two skeins of fingering weight (between 365-400m / 400-435 yards for 100g) Approximately 350m / 380 yards of the main colorway (the beige) and 310m / 340 yards of the contrasting color (black). I used Laféefil’s Mérinos SW, in colorways “Du vent sur les cendres” (beige) and “L’Gaïette” (black).

• NEEDLES 3.5mm (US 4) needles recommended (depending on your gauge). I recommend using circular needles (in order to better distribute the weight of your project), with an 80cm / 32 inches cable for the first four sections, then 100cm / 40 inches for the remaining sections (it’s just a recommendation, for your comfort ^^).

• GAUGE 24 stitches for 36 rows: 10x10 cm / 4x4 inches
