Summary: A bold two-color intarsia belted wrap jacket with contrast cuffs and lapel. Back and front are worked together as one piece to the armholes; sleeves knit separately and set in. Front bands and cuffs knit in herringbone pattern, and faced with a 4 inch (10 cm) stocking stitch lining knit in a finer gauge yarn (4 ply) and slip stitched into place. Moss stitch belt, finished with tassels.

Note: The US3/3.25mm needle is a long circular, used for picking up the facing stitches along the front bands. The yarns called for have been discontinued; Rowan suggest Scottish Tweed Aran and 4 ply as substitutes.
