This pattern contains only the add-on Accessories. It requires the original Fox Toy pattern.

This is Part 1 and it presents the Hat and the Capelet. Fox will be holding a Lute, so a vestment with freedom of motion for arms was necessary.

Materials for this project include: yarn of three different weights: medium worsted, faux fur, and bouclee (total yardage = 40 m; 44 yd), hooks (4.00 mm & 4.50 mm), Hat notions 15 beads (3/0) of one kind or of two kinds (8+7), and one button or filigree (max 1 cm; ½ in in diameter), and Capelet notions (2 small metallic buttons (1 cm; ¾ in), optional filigree/bead spacer & ribbon (20 cm; 8 in length – 4 mm or 1/8 in width)).

The 7-page pdf file details instructions for making:
• Floppy Hat (in a few suggested versions)
• Feather (slightly longer than the Bunny’s)
• Capelet

Among the techniques used here are: invisible finish, work in front/back loops, work on right/wrong sides, adjustable (magic) ring, work in the back bumps of foundation chain, and single crochet with beads worked on the wrong side.

Both Renaissance Bunny & Fox will be holding musical instruments.
