Renton beanie
Renton beanie is worked in the round, bottom up. Beginning with 1x1 rib and ending in stranded knitting worked following charts. The beanie comes in four sizes to fit many different heads, I’m wearing size 2 in the photo.

YARN
Järbo Swedish Wool 3ply (180 m ≈ 196 yds. / 100 g), 2 colours.
SIZES
A-(B-C-D), with circumference of the beanie (stranded colour section) approx. 45,5-(50-54,5-59) cm / 18-(19.75-21.5-23.25”. Intended ease is approx. 3-7 cm / 1.25-2.75 negative ease. See schematic and measurements in photos to the left.
YARN AMOUNT
Colour 1 (59009 Heather Field): approx. 60-(65-70-80) g ≈ 110-(120-130-150) m ≈ 120-(135-145-165) yds.
Colour 2 (59006 Rhubarb Lemonade): approx. 35-(40-50-55) g ≈ 65-(75-90-100) m ≈ 75-(85-100-110) yds.
ALTERNATIVE YARN
Ullcentrum 3ply or other rustic wool yarn in worsted weight.
GAUGE
22 sts x 22 rnds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” with 4 mm (US 6) needles over stranded knitting in Chart A, after blocking.
NEEDLES
3,5 mm (US 4) circular needle, 40 cm / 16” (or at least 80 cm / 32” for Magic Loop).
4 mm (US 6) circular needle, 40 cm / 16” + same size DPN’s (or at least 80 cm / 32” for Magic Loop).
