SKILL LEVEL:

Adventurous Beginner- For those knitters who are ready to learn some new skills or stitch combinations. Stitches include: knit and purl sts in pattern stitches, color changes, and charts.

Notes From the Designer:

Simple combinations of knit and purl stitches create geometric shapes that reflect light, providing textural interest to this wrap design. The stitch repeats are relatively short and easily worked by an adventurous beginner. This is just the sort of project that I reach for when needing a mental break from the hectic world around me.

The simple design, combined with this luxuriously soft yarn, makes this very soothing to knit. Make a wrap, as shown, or decrease the width and create a handsome scarf as a gift for a favorite person in your life.

Click here to watch a tutorial on how to read knitting charts, and to see rows 25 and 26.

For a scarf, cast on 54 sts and decrease the repeats within each stitch pattern row.

Length may be adjusted by varying the number of times the rows in each section are repeated.

The sample shown used 868 yards total (Color A: 177 yds, B: 179 yds, C: 172 yds, D: 170 yds, E:170 yds).

Pattern comes with written instructions and charts.
